I was born and raised in Daqing in northeast China. I completed my bachelor degree at Zhejiang University in central China, with honors degree. In 2017 summer and 2018 fall, I took two internships working on two-photon fluorophores under Cyrille Monnereau at École normale supérieure de Lyon. I also worked on organic hole-transporting materials for perovskite solar cells for my bachelor thesis. Currently, I'm a Ph.D. student in Cosa's Group at McGill University, where I'm focusing on the synthesis of novel fluorescent probes. Outside the lab, I love hiking, kayaking, and computer games.
