Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence Microscope
Similar to the previous, this microscope is additionally equipped with a second EMCCD camera and spectrometer (ACTON Microspec 2156i, MS-ITC-150-40) constituting a spectrograph where to observe the emission spectra of single molecules/ particles. The unit is additionally equipped with a potentiostat to perform single molecule spectroelectrochemistry measurements to characterize the fluorescence/electronic properties of nanomaterials based on the applied bias. The unit is additionally provided with an increased magnification to enable high resolution imaging in modalities such as STORM (Stochastic Optical Reconstruction Microscopy) or NASCA (Nanometer Accuracy by Stochastic Chemical Reactions).
