I am from beautiful Calgary, AB, where I completed my B.Sc. (Hons) and worked with Prof. Simon Trudel on solar water-splitting thin films. I also spent a summer Trinity College Dublin, in Ireland, working on carbon capture materials under the supervision of Prof. Wolfgang Schmitt. After graduating, I made the cross-country move to Montreal and am now a joint Ph.D. student between the Sleiman and Cosa groups. My project focuses on the synthesis and single molecule characterisation of dynamic DNA nanotubes for drug delivery applications. When I am not in the lab, I love to play hockey, do yoga, cook tasty food, and hanging out on top of mountains!
